Please join me every Saturday at 10 a.m. for Zumba at The Arts Hub in SLC!  I am inviting anyone who loves to dance, loves fitness or has shown interest in my class or I just think you would be super fun to Zumba with. Yet this event is open to the public. Please spread the word 🙂

 

Signing up is super easy! Here is how:

 

1. Go to bodyfitology.punchpass.com and create a free account. 

 

2. Click on "purchase a pass" your first class is FREE! Use the code ZUMBAFREECLASS and after you can use the ZUMBATIME50% for any of my passes until the end of December 2022. Super affordable. Enjoy!

 

3. Sign the waiver.

 

4. Bring shoes, water and be prepared to have fun while getting a great cardio workout.

 

5. PARKING - Parking is free anywhere around the building.

What is Zumba? Zumba is dance fitness made up of dance styles around the world such as Salsa, Tango, Belly dance, Reggaetón, Hip hop, Soca, Brazilian, Bachata, Oriental and so many more!

 

My Zumba classes I have selected higher energy songs that will make your heart rate go up and you will sweat; I promise you that. You will also tone your arms, tone your legs and get a workout similar to jogging but it won't feel like it as you will be having so much fun! Zumba also feels great on the spine and on your hips. You will feel more mobile after taking my class. I also have added in a full body standing stretch to the end of our class! This is unique to my classes.

 

 Moving your body to the beat excites the nervous system and it really feels like you are dancing; because you are dancing! Yet the movements are easy enough for almost anyone to following along with. If you can walk, skip, hop, jump you can do Zumba! 

 

Shoes: Please wear athletic shoes 

 

Pre - Workout Meal: This class will have the same effects as jogging. So please eat a small pre-workout meal consisting of mostly carbohydrates and a little fat or protein 30-60 minutes before class. You will need the energy and your body will thank you with more stamina and a quicker recovery which equals a happier more effective experience! 

 

Some pre-workout meal suggestions: 

 

  • 1/2 cup oatmeal with berries

  • Toast with a 1 tsp of nut butter or avocado

  • 1/2 cup granola with almond milk

Water: Drink plenty of water through out the day and bring water to class. It is also recommended that you replace your electrolytes during or after class. Some suggestions are coconut water, watermelon juice, or Liquid I.V. or Gatorade.  

 

Punctuality: I will greet everyone at the main door from 9:50-10. After that the front door automatically locks. Please arrive a few minutes early.
