What is Zumba? Zumba is a sweat producing dance fitness class that is designed from dance from around the world! You will move your feet to Salsa, Brazilian, Belly Dancing, Samba, Bollywood, Dubstep, EDM, Swing, Tribal, African and more. Zumba is low impact. Zumba will give you an excellent cardio workout. Zumba will tone your entire body. Zumba just works! For virtual classes we will be meeting via Zoom. It is recommended that you have a high speed internet and use a fast computer with quality speakers or a laptop to have the best viewing and sound experience.
In addition to being a licensed massage therapist I am a certified personal trainer & Corrective Exercise Specialist through NASM. I am also certified in group fitness through AFAA and am Zumba Certified. I have been dancing since the age of 3 and enjoy combining cardio with dance fitness; it lights me up! Overall, I love teaching and really enjoy meeting students from around the world in my virtual classes. My motto is fitness should be fun! Come dance with me! Dailly movement is a major part of my happiness. Zumba is a great way to get movement in *everyday* as it is as easy on the body as a brisk walk, yet cardio intensive as a jog. Zumba is also great for coordination, agility, balance and will tone your arms, legs and core. It just works!
